Eyes@Optometry are a locally owned Optical store, with 3 locations. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and quality products.

We are looking for passionate and engaging person to join our team as an Optical Dispenser (casual with the potential to move into permanent part time).

Your responsibilities would include:

Provide a high level of personalised customer service and make our patient's in store experience amazing

Identify customers eyecare needs

Provide product recommendations customised to their requirements

Build strong customer relationships

Work autonomously and be willing to be part of a team

Administration tasks including health fund/Medicare claims

Maintain a clean and healthy work environment

To be successful ideally you will have:

A qualification in Optical Dispensing OR experience in a similar role OR the willingness to study

Retail experience in a fast paced environment

Exceptional communication skills

Sales experience and the proven ability to build rapport and customer relationships

Experience using Optomate, HICAPS and Medicare claiming is an advantage

Previous optical dispensing experience is preferred; however, candidates with transferable customer service, retail, healthcare, or hospitality experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

This position is flexible with days, approx 15 hours a week, 1 Saturday a month from 9-2 is required (no other weekend hours)
