The Organisation

A dynamic and expanding Western Australian resources company is entering an exciting period of growth and transformation. With significant expansion planned over the next five years and beyond, the organisation is investing in a broad program of strategic HR and organisational development initiatives to build the capability, culture and people frameworks required to support its future.

To help drive this agenda, they are seeking a Senior HR Advisor to scope, design and deliver a range of organisation-wide people initiatives. The role will work across projects focused on strengthening culture, building organisational capability and creating the foundations needed to support sustainable long-term growth.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Head of HR, you will design, lead and implement a range of strategic HR and organisational development projects. This is not a traditional HR Business Partner position. It is a hands-on delivery role suited to a proactive HR professional who enjoys taking ideas from concept through to implementation and seeing tangible outcomes across the business.

With a strong emphasis on stakeholder engagement, project delivery and the use of HR and talent metrics to inform decision-making, this role would suit someone with experience delivering HR projects who is ready to take greater ownership of organisation-wide initiatives. You will have the opportunity to manage projects end-to-end, contribute to broader people strategy and work closely with senior stakeholders across a growing and evolving business.

Key Focus Areas

People and Culture Projects - Leadership and oversight of end-to-end project delivery - including implementation of new and continuous improvement initiatives.

Career & Capability Building – Drive development and implementation of leadership and professional development frameworks, training needs analysis and rollout of digital and traditional learning solutions.

Early Careers Programs - Build and lead graduate and vacation programs.

Employee Engagement – Lead initiatives within the Employee Engagement Action Plan, creating clear project charters and progress reporting.

Talent and Succession Planning - Lead talent and succession planning to strengthen leadership pipelines, identify critical talent and build capability for future business needs.

What We’re Looking For

Extensive HR / P&C project experience, ideally gained in complex, fast-moving environments.

Proven program and project management skills, with proven success in taking projects through scoping to handover and the ability to create structure and clarity to process.

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence in executive-level reporting and presentation.

Advanced PowerPoint, Excel and project management tool proficiency.

Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Organisation Development, Business or related discipline.

A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to mentor and guide internal project teams.

Why Join

This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the people agenda of a growing resources business at a critical stage of its evolution. You’ll work across the organisation to build and embed practical frameworks, programs and initiatives that strengthen how the business attracts, develops and retains its people, with the scope to grow your own career at the same time as seeing the impact of your work across the organisation.

A highly competitive salary and benefits package is available to attract a high-calibre candidate. The role also offers strong career development and progression opportunities, with broad exposure across the business, direct access to senior leaders and the chance to build experience across a diverse range of strategic people initiatives. As the organisation continues to grow, there will be genuine scope to expand your responsibilities, develop new capability and shape the next stage of your career.
