The Senior /Resident Physician will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to provide symptom management, clinical care, psychological, emotional and spiritual care to patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

· Leads the team of nurses to provide medical consults to patients with advanced and progressive disease

· Formulates and review care plans with multi-disciplinary team to maintain standards of care and ensures safety of patients

· Assessment of new cases and performs on-call duties

Requirements:

· Basic medical degree recognized by Singapore Medical Council

· Minimum 4 years post-graduation medical school for Resident Physician

· Be fully registered with the Singapore Medical Council and hold a current, valid Practising Certificate.

· Experience working in palliative care settings is desirable but not essential as training will be provided

· Demonstrates effective teamwork, upholds respect and integrity, and shows compassion with a strong commitment to excellence in the area of work.

· Candidates with more years of experience will be considered for appointment as Senior Resident Physician.
