About the role

Reporting directly to the Directors, the General Manager will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the business. This pivotal role oversees all operational functions, financial performance, people leadership, customer satisfaction, and strategic execution.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading and managing day-to-day business operations across all departments

Driving strategic, operational, and financial objectives

Managing business performance, budgets, profitability, and reporting

Coaching and developing department managers and employees

Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders

Ensuring compliance with workplace, safety, and regulatory requirements

Identifying growth opportunities and driving continuous improvement initiatives

Providing regular insights and recommendations to the Directors to support business success

About you

· To be successful in this role, you will:

· Have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a General Manager or senior leadership position

· Demonstrate strong commercial, financial, and business acumen

· Possess exceptional leadership, coaching, and people management skills

· Be highly organised with outstanding time management abilities

· Have excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Be a strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities

· Have experience managing budgets, operational performance, and business resources

· Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels

· Lead effectively through change while maintaining a positive and productive culture

· Demonstrate high levels of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality

· Be customer focused and committed to delivering exceptional service outcomes
