About the role

We are looking for an experienced Data Center Supervisor to oversee the onsite deployment of high-performance computing (HPC) and AI infrastructure across customer data centre environments. You will take responsibility for coordinating installation activities, supervising engineers, technicians and subcontractors, managing onsite logistics and ensuring all work is delivered safely, accurately and in line with engineering designs and customer requirements. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong knowledge of data centre infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

Supervise onsite installation teams, engineers, vendors and subcontractors.

Coordinate daily activities, schedules, rotas, logistics and site access.

Lead daily site kick-offs, safety briefings and installation progress meetings.

Review project scope, rack elevations, network diagrams and technical documentation.

Conduct site readiness assessments covering power, cooling, space, access and floor loading.

Coordinate delivery, receiving, inventory and staging of racks, servers, switches and cabling.

Ensure correct installation of servers, switches, PDUs and associated infrastructure.

Monitor structured cabling, labelling, cable management, airflow and grounding.

Validate power delivery, network connectivity, uplinks, patching and port configurations.

Coordinate installation and validation of liquid and air cooling systems, including leak detection where applicable.

About you

Proven experience supervising large-scale data centre deployments.

Strong understanding of existing data centre environments and new-build deployments.

Hands-on knowledge of rack & stack, structured cabling, power, cooling and grounding.

Experience managing technical installation teams, subcontractors and multiple onsite stakeholders.

Understanding of data centre building management systems, including power and cooling infrastructure.

Experience working with AI/HPC infrastructure and modular data centres would be highly beneficial.

Ability to read and interpret rack elevations, network diagrams and cabling drawings.

Strong understanding of data centre health & safety, access procedures and site controls.

Willingness to travel and work extended periods at customer sites during installation phases.
