Residential Manager - Aged Care - 90 Minutes from Brisbane

I'm currently partnering with a homely not-for-profit aged care provider to recruit an experienced Residential Manager for one of their well-established homes in Queensland. Leadership opportunity to manage their 110+ bed aged care residence 90 minutes from Brisbane. Accepting applications from candidates with clinical or non-clinical backgrounds.

What's On Offer:

• Approx $150,000 + super & salary packaging
• Permanent full-time Monday to Friday role
• Relocation assistance available - Up to $5000
• 5 weeks of annual leave offered
• Supported on-site by a Clinical Manager, quality, education, lifestyle, hospitality, maintenance and nursing teams.
• Excellent operations management support in place from Head Office
• Preference for RNs but open to non-clinical applicants
• Provide overall leadership and management of the service, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality care and support.
• Drive compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and support ongoing accreditation requirements.

Main Duties:

• Monitor, review, and improve key clinical, operational, and financial performance indicators.
• Manage budgets, occupancy targets, and overall business performance.
• Lead workforce planning, performance management, staff development, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Foster a positive and collaborative workplace culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and resident outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, community stakeholders, and referral networks.
• Support occupancy growth and enhance the service's profile within the local community.

Essentials:

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse (AHPRA) and/or relevant tertiary qualifications in health, management, business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum five years' post-graduate experience, including recent leadership experience within aged care, healthcare, or a comparable service environment.
• Demonstrated understanding of aged care accreditation requirements, funding frameworks, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven experience managing budgets, operational performance, and strategic service planning.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Current driver's licence.
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (where applicable).
