Your new role

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team based in Ryde.

You'll be responsible for pricing a mix of predominantly remedial and fit out projects, with occasional new build elements. This is a hands-on position involving both office-based estimating and site visits to ensure accurate costings and project understanding.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing detailed cost estimates, tenders and submissions
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and scopes of work
• Conducting site inspections to assess project requirements
• Managing subcontractor pricing and negotiations
• Working closely with project managers, site teams and directors
• Identifying risks, opportunities and cost-saving measures

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 5 years' experience as an Estimator within the construction industry
• Proven experience in remedial and fit out projects (essential)
• Exposure to new build projects is highly regarded
• Strong understanding of construction processes, trades and pricing
• Ability to confidently attend site visits and liaise with stakeholders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and proactive approach
