Job Overview:

The Supermarket Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations and strategic direction of an independent supermarket business. This dynamic position requires a hands-on approach, combining strong leadership, business acumen, and customer service skills to drive growth, ensure operational excellence, and foster a positive shopping experience for customers

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations, sales monitoring, inventory control, and profit and loss.
• Recruit, train, and supervise staff to maintain a positive work environment.
• Uphold high service standards and cultivate customer relationships.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven retail management experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Financial acumen, including profit and loss management.
• Inventory control experience.
• Computer literacy for inventory management and reporting.
• Experience with fresh produce management.
