Recruitco alongside our LONSDALE based client are currently seeking Production Labourers. Our client is a supplier of fibre-glass pressure piping systems for underground water and sewerage systems.

On offer is a 38hr week worked over 4 days. shifts as below.

Tuesday to Friday Day Shift - 06:00-16:00 or 08:00-1800

Monday to Thursday Night Shift 18:00-04:00 or 20:00-06:00

The role will be well suited to a person who has a background in manufacturing or fabrication production using hand and power tools is imperative and use of hand held grinders also mandatory. Forklift licence is preferred however is not manadatory to start. Y You will then slot into the team ensuring the fibre-glass lines are always stocked, tied and running without breaks. You will receive training at different stations including grinding, measurement, pressure testing and coupling and also fabrication. ensuring quality control is of the highest priority with spray paint marking on all pipes. A high level of attention to detail, a hard work ethic, flexibility to work different shifts and generally a great attitude and excellent attendance will see you transition to potential full time roles as available.

To be successful for this role you must meet the following:

Must be willing and able to pass a pre-employment urine drug test

Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident for tax purposes

Must have a clean criminal background

Forklift licence is preferred but willingness to obtain is essential

Car and Licence is mandatory

Background in production work, labouring manufacturing or fabrication works experience

Ability to work across all shifts and overtime is preferred

Keen, can do attitude and willingness to learn

Attention to detail

Computer literate, with data entry experience

Own Long Sleeve Hi Vis clothing, safety boots and safety glasses
