Visy Dior Hotel is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Night Manager to join our team on either a part-time basis.

As the Night Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing hotel operations during evening and overnight hours, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining operational efficiency, and providing leadership to the front office team.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience

Deliver friendly, professional service to guests throughout the night.

Assist with late arrivals, early departures, guest enquiries, and overnight requests.

Resolve guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.

Ensure guest requests are completed and communicated to the morning team.

Overnight Operations

Act as the senior team member on duty overnight.

Monitor hotel operations and ensure guests enjoy a safe and comfortable stay.

Conduct regular property inspections to maintain safety, cleanliness, and presentation standards.

Respond to incidents and emergencies in line with hotel procedures.

Manage hotel security processes, including building access and key control.

Night Audit & Reporting

Complete the nightly audit accurately and on time.

Reconcile daily transactions and investigate any discrepancies.

Balance cash, credit card, and revenue transactions.

Prepare daily operational and financial reports.

Maintain accurate audit records and documentation.

Reservations & Systems

Manage overnight reservations, bookings, amendments, and cancellations.

Update room allocations and arrival lists.

Coordinate urgent room requirements with Housekeeping when needed.

Maintain accurate guest and reservation information within the PMS.

Communication & Teamwork

Provide clear and detailed shift handovers.

Work collaboratively with other departments to support hotel operations.

Escalate urgent issues to management and ensure follow-up actions are recorded.

Safety & Compliance

Follow all WHS, security, and hotel procedures.

Respond to emergencies, evacuations, alarms, and medical incidents.

Maintain compliance with privacy, cash handling, and guest identification requirements.

Ensure hotel policies and occupancy standards are followed at all times.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience in a hotel front office, reception, or supervisory role.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.

Strong organisational and time management skills.

Experience with hotel property management systems (preferred).

Flexibility to work evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
