BCP Group is a long established company based in the South West, with operating divisions covering civil contracting, plant hire, sand extraction & supply and demolition. Following a period of growth, the business is looking for a civil site supervisor with experience supervising civil infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the importance of teamwork through a proven track record of on time delivery and running a project to budget.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of the civil infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and safety protocols

Monitor construction progress, quality of work, and resource allocation, making real-time adjustments as needed

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met

Train new employees on machine operation, earthworks, safety protocols, job responsibilities, and company policies

Foster a culture of safety, quality, and efficiency on the construction site

Essential Attributes

To be considered for this position we are seeking the following skills and experience:

Proven experience in civil construction supervision, ideally with main roads spec projects

Strong knowledge of civil construction techniques, materials, and equipment

Ability to read and understand construction plans to formulate required site works

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams effectively

Understanding of safety regulations and a commitment to creating a secure work environment

Ability to pass a drug/alcohol screen & company medical

Willingness to work reasonable amounts of Saturdays as required

Willingness to work on regional and remote projects as required
