East Arnhem Housing Maintenance (EAHM) is a locally owned business providing commercial cleaning, housing maintenance, facilities management, and guest accommodation services across East Arnhem Land.

We are looking for an experienced Cleaner Team Leader to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role where you will be actively cleaning alongside your team while also leading day-to-day operations, maintaining quality standards, and supporting staff development.

What You'll Be Doing

Cleaning accommodation, commercial buildings, offices, and residential properties.

Supervising and supporting a small team of cleaners.

Leading by example and working alongside your team every day.

Conducting quality inspections and site audits.

Training and mentoring team members.

Operating and maintaining commercial cleaning equipment.

Using cleaning chemicals safely and following WHS procedures.

Managing cleaning supplies and equipment.

Completing site reports and checklists.

Travelling to remote communities when required.

What We're Looking For

Previous commercial cleaning experience.

Experience leading or supervising a cleaning team.

Floor stripping and polishing experience.

Experience using commercial cleaning equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, pressure cleaners and carpet extraction machines.

Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe work practices.

Good communication and leadership skills.

Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.

Current Manual Driver's Licence.

Willingness to travel throughout East Arnhem Land.
