About the role

The Tender Manager is responsible for managing all contractual, commercial, and financial aspects during the tender stage of construction projects. The role ensures that tender submissions are commercially sound, contractually compliant, and aligned with the company's risk management strategy and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end tender process for construction projects

Lead internal tender review meetings and management approvals

Advise management on pricing level, risk allocation, and competitiveness

Conduct tender kick-off meetings and assign responsibilities to team members

Review all quantity take-off and ensure accuracy of measurements

Review and validate Bills of Quantities (BQ), Pricing schedules and Cost build-ups and ensure build-ups cost/SOR reflects the market conditions, resource and productivity assumptions, risk contingencies where applicable and commercially competitive for management consideration and approval

Review, analyse and evaluate all subcontractors and suppliers' quotations in term of technical compliance to the tender specification and ensure scope alignment

Ensure consistency between drawings, client and consultants' intent and specifications, and pricing

Lead value engineering and alternative proposal development

Establish and communicate quotation submission timelines aligned with the overall tender programme

About you

Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Law, or related discipline

Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in main contractor tendering and contract management

Strong experience in building construction projects

Proven track record in tender contract review and risk management
