Responsibilities for ICU Nurse:
Deliver comprehensive, high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Continuously monitor patients' conditions, administer medications and treatments, and respond promptly to changes in patients' clinical status.
Collaborate closely with doctors and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
Operate and monitor critical care equipment, ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols.
Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation while complying with infection prevention, patient safety, and hospital policies.
Provide emotional support and education to patients' families and caregivers where appropriate.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, staff training, and continuous professional development.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Nurse Manager or immediate supervisor.
Qualifications for ICU Nurse:
Diploma or Degree in Nursing with a valid Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) registration.
Minimum 3 years of nursing experience in an Acute Hospital's ICU, or at least 3 years of experience in A&E or Surgical Ward with a strong interest in transitioning to ICU.
Passionate about building a career in Critical Care Nursing.
Able to work rotating 3-shift schedules, including weekends and public holidays.
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and resilient, with the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced critical care environment.
