We are currently seeking applicants for casual Professional Driver positions at our Mackay depot. This position requires employees making their own travel arrangements to and from Mackay and comes with accommodation and meals whilst residing at camp.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Operate Bus Services as required;

Conduct and record pre-start vehicle checks;

Conduct and record post-service vehicle checks;

Adhere to all Queensland Transport, legislative, regulatory and company driving instructions;

Report and record all vehicle defects;

Report all accidents, near misses and other occurrences;

Comply with all company policies and safe work procedures.

Skills and experience

ESSENTIAL - requirement of this position is to hold minimum MR licence & Qld Drivers Authority (DA).

Previous coach/ bus driving experience.

Remuneration

Current EA rates - Midweek rate $39.34. Saturday $59.01. Sunday $78.68. Public Holiday $98.35; Rates to increase from 1st July

On top of great rates, we pay superannuation on all our driver's hours;

Rate increase after 6 months in recognition of experience and tenure;
