About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packing and Filling Technician to join the team at Amber Compounding Pharmacy Pte Ltd. This is a full-time position based in our Singapore facility. In this role, you will play a critical part in our pharmaceutical operations, ensuring that all compounded medications and medical products are accurately filled, packed, and prepared for distribution. Your meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality will directly impact patient safety and satisfaction, making this a vital position within our organisation.

Key responsibilities

Accurately filling and measuring pharmaceutical compounds according to established protocols and prescriptions

Operating packing machinery and equipment to seal, label, and prepare products for shipment

Conducting quality checks on filled and packed items to ensure accuracy and adherence to pharmaceutical standards

Maintaining detailed records of all packing and filling activities, including batch numbers and dates

Ensuring all work areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with hygiene and safety regulations

Following all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements specific to pharmaceutical compounding

Assisting with inventory management and stock rotation of raw materials and finished products

Reporting any discrepancies, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to supervisors immediately

Collaborating with the pharmacy team to meet production schedules and deadlines

What we're looking for

Proven experience working as a packing and filling technician or in a similar pharmaceutical production role

Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under pressure

Knowledge of pharmaceutical safety, hygiene, and quality standards

Familiarity with packing machinery and laboratory equipment

Ability to read, understand, and follow technical instructions and standard operating procedures

Excellent organisational and time management skills

The ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Physical capability to perform standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks throughout the day

A commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment

Relevant certifications or qualifications in pharmaceutical technology or quality assurance would be advantageous
