An Adelaide-based engineering consultancy is seeking to bring on a capable Principal Consultant to support a growing client and project portfolio. They are open to capable individuals based interstate additionally. They have a strong forward pipeline of work currently, and are growing from strength to strength with a well-developed and resourced team.
Your new role
- Leading the design and delivery of major structural engineering projects
- Acting as a trusted advisor to key clients and stakeholders
- Managing and mentoring a high-performing engineering team
- Driving technical excellence and innovation across projects
- Contributing to business development and client relationship management
- Ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and quality systems
What you'll need to succeed
- Extensive experience within structural engineering consultancy
- Proven capability in leading large-scale, multidisciplinary projects
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder engagement skills
- Chartered Engineer status (or working towards) highly regarded
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
- Strong commercial acumen and a proactive approach to problem-solving
