About the Role

We're looking for a commercially minded retail leader to take national ownership of retail performance and professional product sales across the Salon Lane network. You'll set the retail operating model, drive product and professional trade sales to our members, and lead our Concierge and Retail Operations team across every site - with real input into how retail is set up in new locations as we grow.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who's equally comfortable digging into stock and sales data as they are coaching a team or building a promotional calendar with a supplier.

What You'll Do

● Own retail performance and standards nationally - stock management, purchasing, visual merchandising, shrinkage control, and store operations across all sites.

● Build and evolve the retail operating model as Salon Lane expands into new locations.

● Manage sales transactions and inventory through Shopify POS, and turn weekly trend and sales data into commercial recommendations for the leadership team.

● Design and run national strategies, promotions and incentives to grow retail and professional trade sales.

● Lead, coach and roster the Concierge and Retail Operations team across the network.

● Build genuine relationships with our members (independent business owners) to help them grow their own retail sales.

● Manage supplier and brand partner relationships alongside our Co-founder, and scope new product and brand opportunities.

● Coordinate product training and community education, and partner with Marketing on retail and trade activations.

● Work closely with the Marketing and Finance managers to drive success and achieve company goals.

What You'll Bring

● 5+ years' retail management experience, ideally across multiple sites or a national footprint.

● Background in beauty, wellness, salon or lifestyle retail is a strong plus, but not essential.

● Confidence with retail POS and inventory systems - Shopify experience highly regarded.

● A genuinely commercial mindset - you read the numbers and know what to do with them.

● Proven people leadership skills, including rostering and managing a team spread across sites.

● Strong relationship-building skills - you'll be working with independent business owners, suppliers and internal teams alike.
