About the role

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Site Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations across one or more of our active Brisbane projects, ensuring works are planned, resourced and executed in line with programme, quality standards, client expectations and HSEQ requirements. This role suits a hands-on construction professional who is confident leading subcontractors, managing stakeholder relationships and driving a strong safety and quality culture on site. High-rise residential or hotel experience is highly regarded.

Key responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day site operations to ensure project deliverables are achieved on time and within scope
• Acting as the primary point of contact on site for clients, stakeholders and subcontractors
• Taking ownership of on-site relationships, programme requirements and project outcomes
• Leading and maintaining compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) systems
• Promoting a positive site culture focused on quality, safety and environmental performance
• Monitoring site progress, deliveries, inspections and daily HSE requirements
• Completing site administration including maintaining accurate site diaries and records
• Working with project management to ensure projects are appropriately planned and resourced
• Supporting the development, implementation and monitoring of risk assessments, contractor risk assessments and work method statements

About you

• A degree in a relevant construction, property or related discipline with at least 5 years' relevant experience in high-rise residential and/or high-rise hotel construction; or a combination of formal education and experience exceeding 5 years in site management or construction contractor coordination
• Proven subcontractor management experience in high-rise residential, hotel, mixed-use or commercial construction
• Strong structural knowledge and demonstrated ability to drive programme
• Strong knowledge of HSE systems, site safety and compliance requirements
• Safety-first mindset with natural leadership ability
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
• Experience with Hammertech, Procore and Microsoft Project Planner preferred
• QBCC Supervisor Licence is essential
