About the Role
Teknik Consulting partners with the Victorian Government (Department of Education) to provide essential Technical Support to schools across the state. We are currently looking for a flexible, capable, and approachable IT All-Rounder to act as the dedicated "IT Person" for schools in the Melbourne suburbs.

Your Responsibilities
As the onsite IT expert, your day will be a mix of infrastructure management and face-to-face support:
Manage Windows Server Environment (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Hyper-V) and network infrastructure
Provide friendly, front-line support to teachers, staff, and students
Support various devices (Windows plus Chromebooks/iPads/Macs - varies by school).
Manage accounts (Active Directory and Cloud).
Deploy software (Intune, WDS, MDT, SCCM, GP, etc.).
Manage devices (Jamf, Intune, Meraki).
Maintain a strong security posture.
Collaborate with leadership and advise on technology improvements.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, printing, and AV.
What You Bring
A positive, customer-focused personality with excellent English communication skills.
Competence in managing Windows Server, Active Directory, and general networking. We are looking for candidates who can either hit the ground running, or bright, tech-savvy individuals with a solid foundation who are eager to learn and upskill.
The ability to work independently and proactively solve problems.
A formal qualification in IT / Computer Science or similar field (ideally a Bachelor degree)
Demonstrated passion for IT through personal projects and/or further certifications (eg. Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL, Prince2, CompTIA, Google Cloud, etc.)
Hold (or willing to obtain) a Working With Children Check (WWCC).
