About the company and role
Join a leading foreign asset management firm as an Investment Risk Manager to define the scope and risk appetite with ownership.
Key Responsibilities
Direct and manage the firm's investment risk oversight across all types of fund offerings.
Manage MAS regulatory alignment, addressing compliance reviews and internal or external audit demands.
Design, execute and upgrade a comprehensive investment risk framework.
Evaluate exposure trends and present critical risk insights to the investment team and leadership.
Execute advanced risk modeling, including stress testing, scenario analysis and portfolio risk attribution.
Partner with front-to-back teams—including Portfolio Management, Operations and Compliance—to fortify the internal risk control framework.
Qualifications and Requirements
Degree in related discipline - Economics, Finance, Mathematics.
Expertise in MAS Risk Management Guidelines and regulatory compliance for Singapore-licensed fund managers.
Demonstrated track record of risk oversight within public market strategies and non traditional investment firms.
