We're partnering with one of Australia's leading technology companies to find a Principal Product Manager who will help define what the future of AI-native software feels like for millions of customers.This is an opportunity to shape how people interact with an intelligent AI agent, reimagining software beyond menus, forms and dashboards into experiences that feel intuitive, trusted and genuinely useful.

You'll own the customer experience for a next-generation AI product, designing how customers interact with conversational interfaces, generative and adaptive UI, multimodal experiences, workflow delegation and intelligent automation. The goal isn't to build another chatbot. It's to create an AI experience that acts more like a trusted coworker, helping customers complete meaningful work while keeping them confidently in control.

This is one of the highest-profile Product roles within the organisation's AI strategy, offering the opportunity to influence the future of AI-powered experiences used by millions of customers globally.


What you'll be doing

  • Define the long-term product vision for a customer-facing AI experience across web and mobile.
  • Reimagine end-to-end workflows using conversational, agentic and multimodal interaction patterns.
  • Design experiences that enable customers to confidently delegate work to AI while maintaining transparency, trust and control.
  • Partner closely with Product Design, Engineering and AI teams to transform emerging capabilities into intuitive customer experiences.
  • Shape how AI surfaces recommendations, actions, notifications and contextual information throughout the customer journey.
  • Define product success through customer adoption, engagement, trust, retention and behavioural insights.
  • Influence senior stakeholders and align multiple product organisations around a shared AI vision.


We're looking for someone who has

  • Extensive Product Management experience leading large-scale customer-facing digital products.
  • Experience building AI-powered, conversational, agentic or intelligent product experiences that customers actively use.
  • Outstanding product craft and customer empathy, with a proven ability to simplify complex technology into elegant user experiences.
  • Deep partnership experience with Product Design, particularly across interaction design, UX and modern interface patterns.
  • Strong knowledge of generative AI, multimodal experiences, AI agents or intelligent workflow automation.
  • Experience defining product strategy in highly ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • A proven ability to influence senior leaders and align cross-functional teams around a shared vision.

  • Your background is primarily delivery-focused rather than defining long-term product strategy and customer experience.
  • You haven't owned sophisticated customer-facing digital experiences.
