A full-time vacancy exists for a qualified Rubber/Industrial Chemist, to work in the Sydney area for the company Narayan Innovation Pty Ltd trading as Australian Ultra Polymers.

Minimum of a relevant Degree and one years relevant experience required.

Salary package – $82K to $90K per annum + superannuation

Duties include:

Develop and improve rubber compound formulations to meet product performance and manufacturing requirements.

Conduct chemical and physical testing of raw materials, rubber compounds and finished products.

Analyse laboratory results, investigate product failures or quality variations, and recommend corrective action.

Monitor mixing, curing and production processes to ensure compliance with approved formulations and product specifications.

Research and assess alternative raw materials and processing methods to improve quality, sustainability and cost efficiency.

Support the scale-up of laboratory formulations to full production and assist with troubleshooting manufacturing defects.

Prepare and maintain formulation sheets, laboratory reports, standard operating procedures and quality-control records.
