$37.50 – $41.25/hr + Penalties (Pending Role)

Monday – Friday | Optional Saturdays

WorkPac is seeking experienced Mechanical Trade Assistants and Workshop Assistants to join a leading heavy industrial workshop in Singleton. If you have previous workshop or mechanical experience and are looking for stable, ongoing work with excellent hourly rates, we'd love to hear from you.

Available Roles

Mechanical Trade Assistant (Radiator Repair)

As a Mechanical Trade Assistant, you'll support qualified tradespeople with the repair, servicing and overhaul of heavy-duty radiators and cooling systems used across the mining and heavy industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with radiator and cooling component overhauls.

Disassemble radiators, coolers and associated components.

Prepare components for inspection and repair.

Clean, repair and reassemble cooling equipment.

Maintain a safe and organised workshop.

Workshop Assistant

The Workshop Assistant provides hands-on support to technicians by preparing, cleaning and handling heavy-duty radiators and cooling components throughout the repair process.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist Radiator Repairers and Fitters with workshop activities.

Disassemble and prepare components for inspection.

Clean, wash and prepare radiators and cooling equipment.

Assist with general workshop duties and material handling.

Maintain housekeeping and safety standards.

What You Will Need

Previous workshop, mechanical, manufacturing or heavy industrial experience.

Experience assisting mechanical trades.

Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.

Ability to work in a physically demanding workshop environment.

Desirable:

LF Forklift Licence.

Friday: 7:00am – 1:00pm
