With a modern fleet, well-maintained equipment and a strong focus on safety and customer service, GT Recycling has established itself as a trusted name within the industry. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Semi Truck Driver to join their team based in Geelong.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced Semi Truck Driver responsible for transporting a range of recyclable materials and waste products between customer sites, transfer stations and recycling facilities.

Working Monday to Friday (with occasional overtime available), you'll become an important part of a close-knit team that values reliability, professionalism and safe work practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a semi-trailer combination across Geelong and surrounding regions.
• Transport recyclable materials and waste products between customer sites and recycling facilities.
• Complete daily pre-start inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks.
• Ensure loads are safely secured and compliant with transport regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logbooks and compliance records.
• Communicate professionally with customers and the operations team.
• Follow all company safety procedures and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.
• Assist with general yard duties when required.

What We're Looking For

• Current MC Licence with previous semi-trailer driving experience.
• Strong knowledge of Victorian road transport regulations and CoR requirements.
• Excellent driving history and commitment to safe work practices.
• Experience operating truck and trailer combinations.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Forklift licence advantageous but not essential.
• Experience within the recycling, waste, transport or logistics industries would be highly regarded.
