The Department of Children and Families is seeking a motivated and experienced leader to fill the role of Director Policy (SAO2). This position leads the development, implementation and review of contemporary, evidence-based policy, procedures and guidance that support child protection, out-of-home care, domestic, family and sexual violence, family support and key reform priorities. Working closely with government, community and sector stakeholders, the successful applicant will provide strategic advice, lead complex projects, drive policy reform and ensure strong governance and legislative compliance. This is an exciting opportunity for a high-performing professional with strong policy, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills to contribute to meaningful outcomes for Northern Territory children, families and communities
