About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our Export Team at our Merbein Packaging Winery as an Export Administration Officer.
Reporting to the Export Manager, this position will play a key role in all aspects of global and domestic administrative customer service.
The successful applicant will have a strong customer service focus and work with a close-knit administration team who are passionate about the work they do.
Remuneration Classification: This role has been classified as Grade 4 Administration Stream under the Merbein Packaging Winery Warehouse and Clerical Enterprise Agreement.
Terms of Employment: This is a full-time permanent day shift position, operating 38-hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate the end-to-end administration of export and domestic customer orders, ensuring documentation, regulatory approvals and shipping requirements are completed accurately and on time while delivering exceptional customer service and supporting efficient supply chain operations.
Coordinate customer orders from receipt through to dispatch.
Monitor order progress and proactively resolve issues.
Ensure stock availability to meet customer requirements.
Liaise with Sales, Production and Winemaking regarding order priorities.
Prepare export documentation.
Coordinate and maintain accurate shipping documentation.
Apply for Wine Australia export approvals.
Ensure documentation complies with importing country requirements.
About you:
Administrative skills including:
Demonstrated experience in administration or logistics
An understanding of handling export documentation will be highly regarded
Data entry
Organised and able to meet deadlines
Digital Literacy: Use a range of programs to create, evaluate, communicate, and understand information using digital technologies to meet operational goals. Such as, Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). Exposure to a range of digital communication systems including ERP/ JDE systems experience
Action orientated: Takes on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
Customer Focused: Builds strong internal and external customer relationships and delivers customer-centric solutions.
Collaborative: Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
Excellent Communication Skills: This role requires a high degree of stakeholder management and presenting both internally and externally. The successful candidate is committed to working as a team member with a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and work productivity.
