PARKROYAL Parramatta are currently seeking a full-time Meetings and Events Executive to join our enthusiastic team. Reporting to the Meetings & Events Manager, this is a great opportunity to join a high-performing team where you will be responsible for driving event sales, building strong client relationships and coordinating the seamless delivery of meetings and events from initial enquiry through to completion.

Responsibilities:

Maximise Meetings & Events revenue by converting enquiries into confirmed bookings and identifying opportunities to upsell accommodation, catering and event services.

Proactively engage with existing and prospective clients to generate business opportunities, maintain a strong sales pipeline and support the achievement of revenue targets.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, venue finders and key stakeholders to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Prepare proposals, negotiate pricing and contracts, and secure bookings that achieve both client expectations and hotel revenue objectives.

Manage the end-to-end event journey, from enquiry and confirmation through to planning, coordination and post-event follow-up.

Conduct site inspections, client meetings and presentations to showcase the hotel's facilities and services and maximise conversion opportunities.

Coordinate event logistics and ensure all event requirements are accurately documented and communicated to operational teams to deliver seamless event experiences.

Maintain accurate records, forecasts and reporting, while managing contracts, event orders, deposits and account settlements in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Ideally you will have:

Minimum 2 years' experience within the hospitality, events, services, travel or a related industry.

Proven experience in sales, with a strong ability to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings and achieve revenue targets.

Experience coordinating corporate meetings, conferences, social events and special occasions.

Strong relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain lasting client partnerships.

Experience preparing proposals, negotiating rates and contracts, and managing client expectations.

A proactive approach to identifying business opportunities, upselling services and maximising revenue.

Opera Sales & Catering, Delphi or similar CRM/event management system experience advantageous (training provided).

Strong administrative and organisational skills, with a high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
