The ideal Power Generation Technician candidate should have a strong background in commercial & industrial electrical systems, with installation and maintenance of power and control system experience being essential.

Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.

Undertake new installation of power generation equipment - i.e. Diesel Generators, BESS, switchboards, and associated electrical equipment.

Ensure compliance with electrical standards.

Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an industrial and commercial electrical tradesperson

Proven experience with installation & commissioning of technical electrical control systems using PLC's, varied communication protocols, analogue and digital signals.

Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, safety standards, and Electrical standards.

Ability to read and interpret electrical and construction drawings.

Willing to undertake project work which may require periods away from home in regional and remote locations.

Unrestricted South Australian electrical workers license.

Driver’s License

White Card

Must be Australian resident.

Able to obtain WWCC and Police clearance.

Desirable:

Knowledge of Dief & ComAp controllers

Experience with diesel or gas generators, power generation, batteries, or renewables

Solar accreditation (SAA)
