The Ads & Promotions team combines e-commerce and advertising to deliver impactful promotional experiences and advertising solutions across the platform. In this role, you'll support the execution of advertising and promotional campaigns for restaurant partners, consumer brands, and other business verticals, helping drive engagement and business growth.
Role: Ad Operations Specialist
Shift times: Monday - Friday; 9am - 5pm with some overtime expected at peak periods
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
Location: Melbourne
Uniform: Casual
Pay rate: $37.50 - $44.42/hr (depending on experience) + super
About the Role
- Support the execution of advertising and promotional campaigns that help merchants reach customers and drive engagement across a leading technology platform.
- We are looking for a detail-oriented and execution-driven Ad Operations Specialist to support the setup, management, and delivery of high-quality advertising campaigns. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to build campaigns, troubleshoot issues, and ensure launches are delivered accurately and on time.
- This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in campaign management tools, collaborating with stakeholders, and solving operational challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Execute Campaigns End-to-End
- Build and launch advertising and promotional campaigns
- Configure campaign setups based on stakeholder requirements
- Ensure campaigns are launched accurately and on schedule
Support Campaign Operations
- Manage campaign workflows, trackers, and documentation
- Monitor campaign delivery and identify issues
- Assist with campaign updates and optimisations
Problem Solve & Troubleshoot
- Investigate and resolve campaign setup issues
- Work across teams to remove blockers and ensure successful launches
- Escalate and communicate risks where required
Collaborate Cross-Functionally
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product teams
- Support campaign execution across multiple stakeholders
- Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency
Qualifications
Professional Experience
- 2+ years of experience in campaign operations, ad operations, marketing operations, or a similar role
Execution & Attention to Detail
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Technical Skills
- Experience with campaign management or advertising platforms
- Familiarity with tools such as Meta Ads Manager, Campaign Manager 360, Google Ads, Salesforce, or CRM platforms
- Comfortable learning new systems and internal tools
Problem Solving
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and troubleshoot issues independently
- Collaboration & Communication
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working across multiple teams to deliver outcomes
- Ability to clearly communicate updates, risks, and solutions
