About the role

This is a hands-on workshop role suited to someone who is confident working with heavy vehicles, understands how to make strong, practical repairs and takes pride in the quality of their work.

Key responsibilities

Fabrication, welding and repairs to trucks and trailers

Repairs and modifications to truck bodies, trays, guards, brackets and associated components

Structural fabrication and general workshop welding

Repair and fabrication work on heavy plant and earthmoving equipment as required

MIG welding, cutting, grinding and fabrication

Diagnosing damaged components and working out practical repair solutions

Measuring, fitting and fabricating components accurately

Working closely with our workshop and operations teams

Maintaining a clean and safe workshop

Taking ownership of the quality of your work

About you

Has strong welding and fabrication skills

Has experience working on trucks, trailers or heavy equipment

Is confident carrying out repairs and modifications

Can work independently and problem-solve

Produces strong, practical work suitable for heavy-duty use

Takes pride in their workmanship

Is reliable and works well as part of a team

Has a strong focus on safety

Experience in civil, earthmoving, quarry, transport or heavy equipment would be highly regarded
