Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop appropriate nutrition care plans for patients.
• Provide nutrition support, counselling, and education to patients and caregivers in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Apply evidence-based dietetic practices using current scientific research, clinical reasoning, and critical thinking.
• Assess and address health, social, and lifestyle factors that influence nutrition and overall wellbeing.
• Support integrated healthcare initiatives and preventive health programmes.
• Promote healthy lifestyle practices and empower individuals and communities to reduce the risk of chronic diseases.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate community health and nutrition programmes in partnership with healthcare professionals and community stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of nutrition and dietetics services to improve patient and community health outcomes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant clinical dietetics experience.
• Requires JG12/13 with experience.
• Completed clinical dietetic internship in an approved institution.
• Passion for promoting health and wellbeing within patient and community settings.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Basic healthy meal preparation knowledge and skills.
• Strong analytical, clinical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
