Flooring Xtra is looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Customer Service & Project Coordinator to join our established flooring business located between Northern Gold Coast & Brisbane.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating projects, supporting customers, liaising with builders and trades, and ensuring jobs run smoothly from quotation through to installation. About the Role

As our Customer Service & Project Coordinator, you will be the key point of contact for builders, homeowners, installers and suppliers, helping to ensure flooring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.

You will work closely with our sales and operations teams, preparing quotations, coordinating installations, managing customer enquiries and maintaining accurate project records.

This is a varied role that combines customer service, project coordination, administration, retail client interaction and basic estimating.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Client Support

Provide outstanding service to builders, homeowners and trade customers.

Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email and in person.

Assist customers with flooring selections and product information.

Follow up quotations and customer enquiries.

Manage customer expectations and provide updates throughout the project lifecycle.

Resolve issues professionally and efficiently.

Project Coordination

Coordinate flooring projects from quotation through to installation and completion.

Liaise with builders, site supervisors, retail clients, installers and suppliers.

Schedule site measures and installation appointments.

Monitor project progress and ensure timelines are met.

Ensure all project information is communicated accurately to relevant stakeholders.

Quoting & Plan Reading

Read and interpret residential house plans and building specifications.

Calculate flooring areas and quantities from plans.

Assist with preparing quotations and estimates.

Support site measures and verification of project requirements.

Identify any site-specific considerations that may affect installation.

Administration & Systems

Maintain accurate customer and project records.

Process documentation, quotations and project paperwork.

Ensure all measurements, notes and communications are accurately recorded.

Support the team with general administration and coordination tasks.

Essential

Strong customer service skills.

Excellent organisation and attention to detail.

Ability to read basic residential house plans.

Current driver's licence.

Highly Regarded

Previous experience in flooring or construction-related industries.

Estimating or quoting experience.

Understanding of residential building processes.
