The BIM Modeller supports the design, coordination, and development of ACMV BIM models for construction projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance with project requirements, and smooth coordination across disciplines. The role involves preparing detailed drawings, coordinating clashes, and supporting project teams throughout the project lifecycle to ensure successful project delivery.
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and update detailed BIM models and shop drawings for ACMV systems using Revit and AutoCAD
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and construction teams to resolve design issues and clashes with other trades including structural, electrical, and plumbing works
Prepare technical submissions, shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built documentation for ACMV projects
Ensure BIM models and drawings comply with BIM Execution Plans (BEP), project workflows, Singapore BIM Guidelines, and project specifications
Update BIM models based on design changes, site conditions, and project requirements to support smooth project delivery
Participate in coordination meetings and support project teams in resolving technical and coordination issues
Assist in maintaining BIM libraries, drafting standards, and workflow improvements for ACMV projects
Support quantity take-offs, drawing extraction, and project documentation where required
Maintain proper documentation and version control of BIM models and drawings
Support ad-hoc drafting and modelling duties assigned by Management
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, BIM, or related discipline
Minimum 3 years of BIM/Revit experience, preferably in ACMV or MEP construction projects
Proficient in Revit (BIM MEP), AutoCAD, and Navisworks
Strong knowledge of ACMV systems, layouts, coordination, and technical documentation
Familiar with Singapore BIM Guidelines, local building codes, and BIM coordination processes
Able to interpret technical drawings and project specifications accurately
Detail-oriented with strong coordination, technical, and problem-solving skills
Able to work independently and in a fast-paced project environment
