- Located in Port Melbourne, Vic.
- Day shift 6am to 2pm (Monday - Friday).
- Pay rate of $34.79ph (including casual loading).
Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently seeking a dockworker, to join their client in Port Melbourne VIC. The site is a sea terminal for the storage and movement of motor vehicles.
The successful applicant will have completed and pass a police check. The ideal candidate will be someone who is mechanically minded or have a hobby around cars and modifications.
Duties and responsibilities involved/ requirements:
- Look for paint damage, scratch & dents.
- Test all electronics, including radio and dash system, AC, lights etc.
- Check for fluid leaks (oil, brake fluid), check tyre pressure.
- Use of hoist and car jacks.
- Move vehicles around the car slots and undercover storage areas.
Qualifications / Experience:
- Mechanically minded.
- Must pass a police check.
- Be able to provide a driving history.
- Forklift license - but not essential.
- MSIC card is preferred.
- Must be available Monday to Friday.
- Punctual & reliable.
- Physically fit.
