About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced multi-skilled civil operator to join a busy and well-established construction company working across civil infrastructure, pier installations, earthworks, and site development projects.

This is not a driving-only role, you must be confident operating an excavator on active civil sites, as well as safely transporting materials between locations using a Heavy Rigid (HR) truck.

This is a hands-on, site-based role requiring strong construction experience and machine competency.

Key Responsibilities

• Safe operation of HR truck for material transport to and from sites
• Confident operation of excavator on civil construction sites
• Assisting with pier installations, earthworks, and general civil construction tasks
• Working closely with site supervisors and crews to complete daily scopes
• Following all site safety procedures and compliance requirements
• Supporting multiple aspects of civil construction projects as required

Must Have

• Valid HR Heavy Rigid Licence
• Excavator operating experience
• Previous experience working in civil construction / earthworks / infrastructure projects
• Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced construction environment
• Strong understanding of site safety and machinery operation

Highly Regarded Experience

• Pier installation experience
• Drainage, excavation, or foundation work
• Multi-machine tickets (bobcat, loader etc.)
• White Card
