About the role:
Work across a broad range of construction and infrastructure matters, including:

  • Drafting and negotiating construction, engineering and infrastructure contracts.
  • Advising on procurement strategies, project delivery models and risk allocation.
  • Major project documentation and contract administration issues.
  • Construction disputes involving delay, disruption, variations, defects and payment claims.
  • Security of payment matters and other statutory construction claims.
  • Litigation, arbitration, adjudication and alternative dispute resolution.
  • Providing strategic advice throughout the lifecycle of major projects.
  • Managing matters and developing strong relationships with key clients.

The ideal candidate:

  • 5+ years’ PQE, with construction & Infrastructure experience, across front-end, back-end or a combination of both.
  • Strong drafting, technical and commercial skills.
  • Experience gained within a reputable construction, projects or disputes practice.
  • Confident managing matters and dealing directly with sophisticated clients.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • An interest in mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
