Long standing professional dog walking company requires a new walker 4-5 days a week. We are a friendly, supportive and jovial team of walkers/trainers looking to add a happy and reliable person to our SSR family. We are a diverse bunch with age ranges from 18-63. Although we have fun, this job is serious, it’s no ‘walk in the park’ looking after much loved live animals and keeping them safe. If you think you have what it takes, we NEED you! This is a long term role, and we are looking ONLY for those with gusto who can commit. MUST be physically fit, injury free and enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather. Must have your own car to get to base in Willoughby, if you are local there is a chance you could take a company vehicle home. What does this job involve?

Picking up and dropping off dogs from their homes on the Lower North Shore of Sydney

Walking them on and off leash at various dog friendly parks, beaches and bush tracks.

Taking great love and care with live animals

Face-to-face customer service

Basic, reward based obedience training (on the job training provided)

Providing enrichment and socialisation and being fully engaged with your pack

Weekday hours between 8am to 4pm

Hourly rate of $25-35 depending on age.

So what do we need from you? (This is kind of the important bit...)

A visa which allows you to work with NO restrictions

Clean driving record and licence to drive (vehicle provided/ability to drive manual a bonus) MUST have your own transport to get to base

Physically fit, energetic, active and injury free

Naturally love dogs and be comfortable around all types of breeds

Police checked/References

Able to work independently on a day-to-day basis

Excellent customer service/verbal and written communication skills

Live close to or on the Lower North Shore of Sydney (it helps if you know the neighbourhoods we service well). Our base is in Willoughby. Locals please apply!

Punctuality and reliability is a MUST!

Must be able to commit to at least a full year, please DON'T apply otherwise
