About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Solution Architect to lead the architecture and strategic direction of large-scale ServiceNow transformation programs. This is a senior consulting and leadership role where you will act as the trusted technical authority across enterprise engagements, guiding platform strategy, architecture governance, and solution delivery from inception through to implementation and ongoing optimisation.
You will work closely with executive stakeholders, delivery teams, and technology partners to design innovative, enterprise-grade ServiceNow solutions while ensuring technical excellence and business value are achieved across every engagement.

• ServiceNow AI capabilities including Now Assist and AI Agents

• Act as the lead architecture authority across complex ServiceNow transformation programs.
• Define platform strategy, target architectures, governance frameworks, operating models, and technology roadmaps.
• Design enterprise-scale solutions across:
• Develop scalable and secure instance strategies, including domain separation and platform health optimisation.
• Architect integration patterns using APIs, middleware, and event-driven technologies.

Governance & Delivery

• Lead architecture review boards and technical governance activities.
• Validate solution designs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Act as the senior escalation point for complex technical and architectural challenges.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks while managing technical debt and platform modernisation initiatives.
• Ensure high-quality delivery aligned to client objectives and measurable business outcomes.

Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

• Present technical strategies, recommendations, and architecture roadmaps to executive stakeholders and steering committees.
• Mentor architects, developers, and technical leads to improve delivery capability and design standards.
• Promote innovation through AI, automation, and emerging ServiceNow technologies.
• Build strong relationships with clients, partners, and ServiceNow stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of ServiceNow consulting and architecture experience.
• Proven experience leading enterprise-scale ServiceNow transformation programs.
• Strong expertise across multiple ServiceNow product suites.
• Executive-level stakeholder engagement and consulting capability.
• Deep technical platform knowledge with the ability to guide and challenge technical designs.
• Strong architecture governance and solution assurance experience.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client relationship management skills.
• Full Australian working rights.

Required Certifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• CIS-ITSM
• At least one additional CIS certification (ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SPM or similar)
• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA)

Highly Regarded

• Additional ServiceNow CIS certifications
• ITIL 4 Foundation (or higher)
• TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification
