The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Transport Planning & Advisory professional to join the Brisbane team in a senior leadership capacity.
You'll lead transport investment appraisal and assessment across nationally significant multi-modal transport projects, providing robust economic analysis to support strategic investment decisions, business case development and project prioritisation.
Working closely with clients, multidisciplinary teams and key stakeholders, you'll provide technical leadership, mentor junior team members and play an important role in the continued growth of the advisory business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery and technical assurance of transport investment appraisal, economic analysis and assessment across complex multi-modal projects.
- Manage assessment and appraisal workstreams, ensuring projects are delivered on scope, budget, programme and quality targets.
- Provide trusted technical and commercial advice to clients and stakeholders to support investment decisions and business case development.
- Support business growth through proposal preparation, work-winning activities and the continued development of transport appraisal and economic advisory services.
- Mentor and develop team members while fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
About You
You're an experienced transport advisory professional with a passion for helping shape infrastructure investment and transport policy.
Ideally, you will have:
- Ideally 10–15+ years' experience within transport planning, transport advisory or infrastructure investment.
- A tertiary qualification in Economics, Transport Planning, Urban Planning, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong consulting, client management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Commercial understanding of project delivery, including scope, programme, quality and budget management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical, economic and policy information to a range of stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of transport policy frameworks, planning guidelines and evidence-based appraisal methodologies.
- The ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
