Marist Regional College is a Catholic co-educational secondary college educating over 900 students in Years 7–12. We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused IT Support Officer to join our Information Technology team in a full-time, limited tenure position providing leave coverage until 18 December 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy ICT team where no two days are the same. You'll work across a broad range of technologies, providing technical support to staff and students while helping to ensure the smooth operation of the College's ICT systems and services.
About the Role
Reporting to the IT Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the College's technology environment by delivering responsive and effective ICT support across the College community.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing first-level ICT support to staff and students.
Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software and network-related issues.
Installing, configuring and maintaining desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals.
Supporting Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365 and other College applications.
Assisting with device deployment, imaging and asset management.
Supporting classroom technologies, printers and audio-visual equipment.
Assisting with system maintenance, upgrades and ICT projects.
Maintaining accurate records and delivering outstanding customer service.
This is a hands-on role that would suit someone who enjoys problem solving, building relationships and providing practical technical support in a dynamic environment.
About You

Have experience providing ICT support in a professional environment.
Demonstrate excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Be able to communicate effectively with people of varying technical abilities.
Have a strong customer service focus and enjoy helping others.
Be well organised, able to prioritise competing tasks and work independently.
Contribute positively to a collaborative team environment.
Demonstrate professionalism, discretion and a commitment to confidentiality.
Experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments, Microsoft 365 and common end-user technologies will be highly regarded.
