Store Manager | Homewares & Lifestyle Retail

We are currently partnering with a well-established Australian family-owned homewares retailer to recruit an experienced Store Manager for their Camberwell location.

Following a recent leadership change, this is an exciting opportunity to step into a well-known store with a loyal customer base, quality product offering, and a high level of autonomy in how you run your business day-to-day.

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership position where you will take full ownership of store performance, team leadership, and customer experience.

You will be responsible for driving a strong in-store culture, lifting engagement on the shop floor, and ensuring a premium customer experience is consistently delivered.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a customer-focused retail team
• Drive sales performance and store KPIs
• Maintain strong floor presence and customer engagement
• Oversee day-to-day operations including rostering and stock management
• Ensure high standards of presentation and visual merchandising
• Build strong customer relationships and repeat trade
• Balance commercial performance with service excellence

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Store Manager in a high-volume retail environment
• Strong background in customer experience and relationship building
• Confident leading from the shop floor (not office-based management style)
• Commercially aware without over-focusing on reporting and analysis
• Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
• Adaptable, intuitive leader who thrives in an autonomous setting
• Homewares, lifestyle or broader retail experience highly regarded
