We're looking for an experienced Leading Carpenter who is ready to take ownership of projects, lead a team and help deliver some of the region's finest custom homes.

About the Role

This is more than a carpentry position.

You will be responsible for leading projects from site establishment through to handover, managing day-to-day site operations while working alongside a supportive management team.

You'll lead by example, maintain exceptional workmanship, coordinate subcontractors and ensure every project is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor carpenters and apprentices on site.

Manage day-to-day site operations.

Coordinate subcontractors and deliveries.

Read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.

Complete all aspects of carpentry including framing, lock-up, fixing and fit-off.

Maintain high standards of quality throughout every stage of construction.

Ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.

Identify and resolve construction issues before they become problems.

Maintain site safety and ensure compliance with OH&S requirements.

Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and management.

Complete site documentation including daily records, inspections and quality checks.

About You

You are someone who takes pride in your work and enjoys leading others.

You'll ideally have:

Qualified Carpenter.

Minimum 7 years' experience building high-end custom or architectural homes.

Previous experience leading projects or supervising teams.

Strong understanding of Australian building standards and construction methods.

Excellent ability to read and interpret construction drawings.

High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Strong communication and organisational skills.

Ability to problem solve and make confident decisions on site.

Current Driver Licence.

Own tools.

White Card.
