Senior/Principal AI Engineers - Sydney (Hybrid)

Nuage have partnered with a longstanding client to help them find multiple Senior AI Engineers to help build out AI solutions for Australia's largest enterprise businesses, and to help them move beyond AI experimentation and into real world production deployments.
This is a client facing role where you'll own projects E2E from initial discovery workshops through to production deployment.

What I need from you:

• Strong software engineering background with experience building and shipping production systems
• Commercial experience delivering AI, LLM or Agentic AI solutions into enterprise environments
• Expertise with modern AI platforms
• Experience building RAG pipelines, multi-agent workflows and LLM-powered applications
• Strong cloud experience across any of the following (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Experience working with enterprise data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery or Fabric)
• Comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to lead technical workshops and influence architecture decisions
• Strong ownership mentality and ability to operate in ambiguous environments
• Full Australian working rights

There is a multi-stage interview process for these positions with some currently underway. The recruitment for these multiple roles will be on-going for the next few months. Due to the expected high volume of applications, only those based in Sydney / are willing to relocate to Sydney can be considered for these positions.
