About the Role:

As a Career Coach, you’ll deliver high-quality, participant-focused support that drives engagement, conversion and successful employment outcomes.

You’ll manage a diverse caseload across intensive, low-intensive and Post Placement Support (PPS) services, with funding levels balanced according to participant needs and complexity. You’ll take ownership of your caseload, supporting participants to make meaningful progress toward their employment goals while meeting departmental requirements.

Through tailored one-on-one support, you’ll develop participants’ communication, confidence and employability skills, while meeting the program’s required service and contact frequency. You’ll also contribute to an integrated group model that incorporates recovery interventions, creating opportunities for participants to build capability, resilience and readiness for work.

Your success will come from building strong relationships, providing purposeful support and creating clear pathways to employment—helping participants achieve sustainable outcomes and contributing to stronger placement results.

Experience Requirements:

Experience in career coaching, employment services, career counselling, human resources or a related field.

Strong communication, relationship-building and organisational skills, with the ability to manage a caseload effectively.

Experience working within a trauma-informed and/or recovery-oriented approach and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualification and Other Requirements:

Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check (WWCC)

Current or willing to obtain a National Police Check (NPC)

Certificate 4 in Mental health, or related field or willingness to work towards.
