About the Role:

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide expert clinical leadership, guidance and support to care staff, ensuring safe, high-quality and resident-centred care is delivered across the facility.

Working as part of the clinical and multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in supporting complex clinical decision-making, care planning, clinical governance and continuous quality improvement.

You will utilise your clinical experience to support the development and review of resident care plans, provide mentoring and clinical guidance to staff and ensure care is delivered in line with organisational values, best practice and accreditation standards.

Main Duties

• Provide expert clinical leadership and guidance in the management of complex resident care needs
• Complete comprehensive clinical assessments and ensure accurate and timely documentation
• Contribute to the development, implementation, monitoring and review of resident care plans
• Support the orientation, mentoring, clinical supervision and ongoing development of care staff
• Promote a collaborative and consultative approach to resident care planning and quality activities
• Assist with compliance across accreditation standards, legislation and clinical governance requirements
• Support accurate and timely ACFI assessments to optimise funding outcomes
• Work collaboratively with residents, families, multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
• Participate in continuous quality improvement, risk management and workplace health and safety activities

Skills & Requirements:

• Current AHPRA Registered Nurse registration
• Extensive general nursing experience with strong clinical skills within RAC
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of ACFI

• Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
