YOUR IMPACT

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated leader to step into an Area Manager position, supporting our clinics in Thomastown, Maribyrnong, Melton, Point Cook and Geelong. This is a hands-on leadership role designed to strengthen collaboration, consistency, and performance across clinics, while continuing to build strong, engaged teams and delivering exceptional patient care. You will work closely with each Practice Managers and clinic teams, acting as a key connection point between clinics and the wider leadership group.

THE ROLE

Cluster: Thomastown, Maribyrnong, Melton, Point Cook, Geelong

This is not a “head office” role, it’s a visible, approachable leadership position focused on elevating people, clinics, and performance. As an Area Manager, you will:

Provide hands-on leadership support to Practice Managers and clinic teams across your Cluster

Act as a key point of connection between clinics and the wider Our Vet leadership team

Support operational consistency, problem-solving and best-practice sharing

Assist with decision support, performance insights and collaborative planning

Strengthen clinic culture by fostering alignment, engagement and shared purpose

Continue to role-model Our Vet values, standards and ways of working

APPLICATIONS

To be successful in this role, you should have:

Proven experience as a Veterinary Business Manager or similar leadership role

5+ years’ in clinic experience as a Senior Vet Nurse in small animal medicine

Experience managing clinic performance: including P&L, rostering, and operations

Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills

The drive to foster a supportive and positive clinic environment

A genuine passion for developing people and improving clinic outcomes
