Currently we have a vacancy for a Assistant Store Manager position at our Taree West Bottle-O Store. As Assistant Store Manager you will be responsible for the efficient day to day running of the store through:

Assist Store Manager and develop staff to deliver a high level of customer service

Assist Store Manager to maximise the profitability and viability of the store

Assist Store Manager to manage and maintain all WHS standards

Essential Selection Criteria

Certificate III in Retail or equivalent

Experience in supervising team members

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a retail environment

Effective written and oral communication skills

Proven ability to coach staff ‘on the job’

Responsible Service of Alcohol Qualification (relevant to State/ACT)

Driver’s Licence (current)

Ability to lift medium to heavy weights for period of time

Intermediate computer literacy skills (Microsoft Office, email, internet)

Valid work rights in Australia are required for this position.

Desirable Selection Criteria

Experience in a similar role in the liquor industry

Liquor product knowledge

Forklift Licence
