Global Consumer Products Leader

High-impact finance systems role

$120k–$140k + Super

This established consumer products organisation operates across local and international markets and is supported by a strong portfolio of well-known brands. An opportunity has arisen for a Systems Accountant to join the finance team. Reporting to the Finance Systems and Reporting Manager, this role will act as the key link between Finance and IT and support the ongoing management, optimisation and development of the ERP environment. Your responsibilities will include:

Acting as the finance systems specialist and ERP super-user

Managing core finance configurations, including general ledger structures, cost centres, entities, tax settings and reporting hierarchies

Coordinating and performing UAT for system changes, upgrades and integrations

Acting as the main point of contact between Finance, IT and external system providers

Providing system support and training to finance users

Troubleshooting ERP issues and implementing appropriate solutions

Gathering and documenting finance requirements for system projects

Supporting major initiatives across POS, e-commerce, supplier portals and other system integrations

Identifying opportunities for system optimisation, automation and process improvement

Supporting the wider finance and FP&A functions as required

To be successful in this role, you will have experience across finance systems, accounting or business analysis, with a strong understanding of financial processes including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax and cost centre structures. You will bring strong ERP experience and a track record of supporting system enhancements, implementations or process improvement projects. You will be proactive, analytical and confident working across Finance, IT and operational teams, with strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
