Vic’s Premium Quality Meat | Sydney

Vic’s Premium Quality Meat is looking for a proactive and commercially minded Purchasing & Supply Officer to support procurement, production planning, inventory and 3PL operations across our growing food manufacturing business.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and taking ownership of suppliers, stock, data and operational outcomes.

Key responsibilities

Manage procurement of packaging, labels, cartons, stickers, consumables and value-add products

Coordinate production planning for the Vic’s Smallgoods range

Support the Vic’s Kitchen range from product development through to ongoing production and stock management

Raise, track and follow up purchase orders to ensure on-time and accurate supply

Monitor supplier lead times, stock levels and par levels to prevent shortages and excess inventory

Manage day-to-day coordination with 3PL warehouse partners, including stock movements and reconciliation

Support demand planning, forecasting and inventory requirements across key product categories

Work closely with Production, Warehouse, QA, NPD and Marketing on forecasting and supply requirements

Support supplier relationship management and identify cost and process improvements

Maintain accurate purchasing, stock and supplier records

Support the transition of Unit D into 3PL management

Assist with annual Christmas planning and execution

About you

We are looking for someone who is highly analytical, commercially aware and exceptionally detail focused.

Ideally, you will have:

Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, inventory or production planning

ERP experience, ideally with Pronto

Strong Excel skills

Strong numerical capability and confidence working with large volumes of data

Experience in forecasting and demand planning

Strong inventory management and stock control capability

Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy

Confidence analysing stock levels, lead times, usage trends and purchasing requirements

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Experience working with suppliers, 3PL providers and operational teams

A proactive approach to identifying issues before they impact production

Experience within the meat industry is preferred, with broader food manufacturing or FMCG experience also highly regarded.
